We could go really close, like Wicklow or even a bit further to Tramore.

I'd go for the same reason that I go to a pub, or that I go to a barbeque. To hang out with my friends, and people that I like to spend time with.
For this reason, I'm glad to hear that you're not interested in coming along. Because I don't like you, or a single thing that you've ever said to me. My beliefs might be strong and I hold them close to my heart, but I'm not going to alienate myself from my friends because of them, just like my friends don't alienate me.
If I get invited to a party, and I want to go, I'll go, regardsless of whether people will or will not be drinking.
Don't try and enforce your closed mind on me by suggesting what I can and can't do.
Maybe if you smoked less pot you could stay on topic more.
