I play WoW too. Probably too much for my health, but there ain't no way I'm dying from it. I've tried to play it some nights when I come home from the pub, and I only last an hour before I start falling asleep.
I wonder how people are actually able to stay awake long enough for it to kill them...

Maybe its kills them with boardom cause it's a brutel piece of blizzard tripe with built in malware for your pleasure Sorry I just find games without any risk as been pointless and WOW just has no risk involved, you cant lose gear, skills, xp anything, you can die 1000 times and just respawn, no challenge whatsoever. Might as well play Quake or doom with godmode active.

I suppose you could consider it like that...
OR!!!!
You could think of it like any other role playing game. The exact same things could be said about Zelda, Final Fantasy or any other RPG. The only difference between those and WoW is that there are thousands of people playing it at the same time as you, and you can interact with them.
I've been playing games since I was a nipper and WoW is the most entertaining game I've probably ever played. Some of the best memories I have from games have been from WoW, not least of all because I'm a story-whore and the backstory from Warcraft is really well defined and full of awesomeness.
All that aside, play Resident Evil 4. Second best game I got into all year.

IF playing on a RP server then I would say yes the game has merit, I did try abit on argent dawn but again got board.
Warcraft does have a nice backstory to it and such but my main dislike for the game world is the fact the players themselves can not add to the story or help shape the world.
Its also very repetative at 60th level, how many times can you run molten core before you board? its grind grind grind until you get the next epic item.
Even then my main dislike of the game is again not even that, its the PvP system, you get rewards for been better than others but you lose nothing for getting killed.
It reminds me to much of Diablo 2 and the whole pindleskin and mephisto runs to get items.

And I thought I'D put a lot of time into the game. I've only done a handful of instance runs, and none at all to Molten Core. I'm not even attuned. I'll have to get sorted out with that soon. I'm trying to get my hands on Benediction/Anathema for my priest, so I need the Eye of Divinity from MC.
I play a lot, but not enough so that I get bored of doing stuff. I'm mostly doing the PvE endgame, getting into all the quests and stuff.
I agree to a point with you about PvP, but I've gone down a rank in that, so not entirely. It needs to be better balanced with bigger penalties for losing and getting killed. No honor gain is not the same as honor loss.
Plus, heaps of retards play PvP, and it makes it tough to get into the instances (on Thunderhorn at least) on the Alliance side when they keep on entering. I've queued for 4+ hours trying to get into Warsong Gulch before.
Despite all it's shortcomings, I still love it, and I mostly play for the social aspect of it.
Talking about it makes you feel like a grade A nerd though...
