Zombie cows in Leitrim? I presume you kids were watching Dead Meat then ;D
Fantastic film, gotta publicise it a wee bit, my old friend Dave Muyllaert played Desmond, and was responsible for the kick ass 'Dead Meat' theme tune. Awesome movie. Perfect Christmas present material!!!

I only saw it once when it was on in the IFI but basically, all the cows in Roscommon have Mad Cow Disease (which actually makes them mad and attack people) and when the bite you, you turn into the old undead!
Thats' the gist basically.......
All I remember was there was a "coach" who coached hurling and was a mean old bastard and they did the Jurassic Park thing where they shine a light out the car window into the cows eye (what's the opposite of dilate?)s.
Hilarious flick

It's the Irish Film Institute, formally the IFC (Irish Film Centre) in Temple Bar. It's worth checking out, you'll catch a few gems in there. Never think much of there choice of movies each Halloween for the Horrorthon but in saying that, I'm just realised I completely forgot about it this year!

The opposite of dilate is either constrict or contract. I think it's contract in this context

Dana, I think the reason that loads of people in fibbers have seen it, is cause Ed was involved in the making of it. Its banned from my house cause I am very squeamish and I cant watch gory films. Ed took it as a compliment! Its weird, I can deal with blood and guts no problem in real life, but put it on a TV screen with a bit or good backing music and watch Michelle have a panic attack!

I only just found out about Ed's involvement in the film last night when he and Dave had a very emotional reunion in the beer garden One of the things I have always loved about Fibbers is the randomness of who you run into there. Last night was fantastic, there were so many people there I hadn't seen in years. Best pub I have ever regularly made an arse of myself in. ;D Dead Meat is now available in Tower for anyone interested in finding awesome Christmas presents!!!!
