Well to start with Closer, is an alright song which has been played to death in Fibbers. I believe hereby that it should not be played by any DJ for at least 2 months. Every time someone asks for it, say you forgot the CD but you'll play another NIN song.

I have heard them play Slayer numerous times now. Its true there are alot of songs that get overplayed, but the thing is, I dont see many people going up to the DJs anymore. I see the regulars and the newbies, but I rarely see people who wanna hear Slayer or that go up. Its always the kids who want Closer. What do you expect to happen?? The DJs are not telepaths. They cannot sense what you wanna hear.

Id say bring in your own CDs, they can only say No and then you can come back on here and badmouth em for not playing.

As for what gets played, unfortunately please remember Fibbers is a business and the management, whilst giving as much freedom as they can, will also not wanna see a lose in numbers. So we are not going to revolutionise the place and have non-stop metal, or absolutely no punk/nu-metal etc etc. You have to take the good with the bad.

Well looky at captain sensible! Your ladi-da logic isnt appreciated here, as a Fibbers regular, Im well aware of the tradition, that if theres something wrong, or something annoying you : You dont actually do anything about it, you remain in your seat (preferably a in a dark corner) and whine about it like a twat.
But now its 2005 we can also log on here to do it too.

Fibbers used to do Food upstairs, it was awful. It took ages to get to you and then it was normally just shit. Gave you the shits and made you generally feel like the pipes!!!

Fridays aint too bad. Its not as packed and generally the people who are in, are in to get pissed and enjoy themselves. But I have noticed alot of goths showing up on Fridays.

Good choice, his solo stuff is lame, Im a fan of Bauhaus and he didnt play a single song. I didnt know any of the songs he played.
