I'm developing a web application for use internally here. It's going quite well today. I too found out some very interesting stuff, but mostly useless technical nerding.

As another positive, my new iPod got shipped today so I'm a happy camper. Matron! Take them awhayyyy!

its all fun and games til you find out that apparently no where in Ireland replaces or fixes hard drives for iPods, leaving you with a €400 paper weight. Fucking deadly.
if anyone knows anywhere that fixes em i'll be mildly ecstatic

Apple fixed mine for me, but it was still within warranty. Other than that, I couldn't tell you.

Weird. I too was 2 hours late for work today. And yesterday for that matter, but I made up for it by staying late and doing 2 hours overtime. Go me. Corpwhore, ichiban!

I don't mind my job at the moment. Programming is fun. Sometimes you can't get your head around it and all you want to do is anything else. Other times you have an idea and get into it and all of a sudden you notice that you're still in work at 8:30pm.

Plus I get to check my mail all day.

k, apparently im giving out too much!! ive been working in a bank two days and its sorta like school, filled with rules, they made me take my labret stud out!! but i dont think ill last much longer and everyone wont have to put up with my whingeing anymore

Yeah where I'm working everyone just seems to slag me cos I don't really do that much around here and most of the time I'm either on the net or just walking around the office....but on the upside I have got many cool new programs and what not for my computer!!
