[glow=red,2,300]Forum Elitist[/glow]
A message board user who believes themselves to be superior to other members. This condescending attitude is dictated by one or more of the following:
-Their number of posts -Their registration date -Their position (usually moderator) -How "popular" they are among the other users
The forum elitist cannot accept the fact all members are on the same level, from the administrator to the lowly newbie. As a result, new users are generally treated with contempt and revulsion by the forum elitist, often when they have done nothing but registered at a later date.
A message board can be effectively ruined by forum elitists, as over time they breed, increase their numbers, and spawn an entire inbred forum monarchy, which actively seeks to rule the "peasants" of the board with an iron fist. This terrible fate has befallen more than one forum over the years, and is virtually irreversible once it has been established.
"Hello, I am a new user and I wish to present an objective and enlightened opinion on-" "Shut up newbie. You are lower than sewer scum on the bottom of my shoe." "ya lol shut up you noob!"

This has to escalate just a lil bit, if only for purposes of education. Dana, Canada is self-governing, ie, not an American state, and it hasn't been a British colony for 150 years either.

I found the opposite to be true. Technically, Canada is a country within the Americas, the same way Ireland is a country within Europe. "America" is actually The United States of America. As a result it is technically correct to call a Canadian American, in much the same way that an Irishman can be called a European.
It IS true though that Canada is a different country. I thought South Park the Movie made that clear...

Fair enough, and in geographical terms it is most definitely within THE Americas, but how may ignorant shites have referred to us spud-eaters as part of the United Kingdom, not European?? And how many Brits... grrrr, I'm gonna stop this before I go off on one.

i stand by my opinion that this country would be in a much better state if we were run by britain if this country were still being run by britain i can almost promise you that you would be a second class citizen and that the violence that is experienced up north would be worse down here. how the hell is that better than what we have now? how would be better for us to still be a colony and not be allowed to be recognised as irish? tell me! i'm dying to know your philosophy behind that! much grrrr argh

Dana, I'm outraged by that that last comment, you treacherous bitch! So, you'd prefer the Black & Tans to still be here, Orangeman marches down O'Connell St. All out War! Saluting the union jack? The queen on our money, having to participate in the commonwealth, Ian Paisley being an even bigger asshole than he already is. Ireland fought long and hard for its freedom, and i think you should appreciate the people who made it so, not insult people like Padraig Pearse & James Connollys memories by saying Blasphemous things like that

What have the Romans ever done for us eh?
But seriously. I can't see any evidence that would suggest that living under British rule would be better than what we have now. You are, however, perfectly entitled to your opinion, as ludicrous as it is.

Gallant as ever there. In my humble opinion, treason should still be punishable by a public hanging. In this case, in the beer garden, think Dave would mind?? And treason is exactly what that slur was.
