If your toe is broken Emma, it will be sore, it will be swollen and it will obviously be painful to bear any weight on it. If the swelling does not go down within 2 days, go to the hospital and get it sorted out. If the bone is broken awkwardly, you could do yourself further damage by not getting it fixed. True if its a run of the mill break, they can't really set it, but they can bind it and sort it so its a bit better to walk on, if its a bad funky break, then they may have to put a pin in it to keep it straight while the bone heals, very rare, but it can happen. Basically dont fuck with it, as you have to walk on that foot for the rest of your life!

Last night I took another look at the place in TBMC where I aprained my ankle at LoA last week. A week on it still hurts like a motherfucker, and remains bruised and swollen. Only this week, instead of a tiny sub-text of a sign that read "Mind your step", not "mind the step", there was nada. Not a sausage, let alone a big bold sign advising peeps to not injure themselves. Bastards. And it's a treacherous wee tumble to take, the nasty triple edged step out into the beer garden. Dodgy. I shoulda called them on it, but was too busy enjoying the gig. MGS absolutely RAWKED, tightest bestest band in the country  And Kerbdog were amazing too, even if Battle was stumbling over old lyrics almost as much as I was. so i went to the hospital lastnight and got xrayed its not broken or fractured or anything THANK GOD. but its badly bruised and very sore so they gave me painkillers and a few days off work. great stuff.
