Once upon a happy time Prague was cheap not not so much any more. It's still cheaper than here.
...sorry, I don't have an alternative.

Eindhoven in Holland. Its about €80 direct on Ryanair, accomodation is pretty cheap. The town is small like Galway, bus to Amsterdam is about €20 and the beer is lovely. The people are very friendly and all speak very good english.
Holidays this year are limited for me. I am in Galway next weekend for a study weekend. Then Im booking a trip to Eindhoven for Feb/March. I have to attend a one week seminar in May, and I was hoping to go to Peru this year, but unless I can quit my job or get a career break its unlikely.
I am however, seriously looking into travelling to New Zealand next November for minimum of a year. Might change my mind for Canada instead, but its all in the pipe work.
Prolly go to London again in April sometime to see my friends. Just gotta organise it right and plan, plan, plan

Hehehee, currently looking into flights to Alaska for March to check out the Iditarod, and view the Aurora Borealis at it's finest. Can't wait. And Moscow looks fairly set for April, London to see mah friends pretty soon. Aren't we quite the bunch of feckin' jet-setters??? Thailand somtime later on in the year would be wonderful too, but I dunno if I can fit that, what with saving to go back to college
