AIC without Layne just does not interest. Amazing guitarist and all that Jerry is, its like having the Doors without Morrison, you are missing a key and essential element.
As for Oxegen selling out.......good. Fewer knacker cunts in town those days getting in my way and generally just being fucking retarded fuckmooks who should be sterilised.
The line-up is interesting, but not so interesting that I would spend 130+ euros to travel 35 miles away, live in a tent for the weekend, piss/shit in bushes, drink over-priced beers or have my tinnies confiscated, eat shite, repeatedly bump into fuckmooks who should be dead and try with what little energy I have to get close enough I can see a Titantron and hope I can make out a band I passingly like for the 45 mins they will definitely play in between shite bands who should all get the AIDS. Just has never appealed to me. I mean for that 130 euros you can go to a proper festival in England/Francwe/Holland or somewhere better where there are not dublin knackers escaping to the sticks for the weekend with their small containers of coke and fucking weed where they will rub up against each other and produce more water-head melon faced kids!
Fuck OXEGEN!!!!!! I hope a fire starts this year and we burn some cunts!!!

oxegen is definitly not all its cracked up to be but if you have no other plans for the summer it can be a pretty good gig. that said, dont know if i'll be attending this year or not.

Im sorry but that last statement makes no sense. If you have nothing to do for the summer you should go to a gig in a better country with a better line-up and less fucking cunts at it!!!

I've planned quite a few euro festival trips over the last few years, and most have been on fairly short notice. You're right though, it's not the same as going to a festival in Ireland.
That's because everywhere else the festivals are GOOD.
