Im with you on this one. They dont know four songs, they are aware of four songs, but ask em titles and they'll do a really bad air-guitar part that songs like Natlaie Imbruglia, but they will swear is Walk. Of course they won't call it Walk, they'll call it Respect or something equally idiotic.
I hereby cast my vote for Helmut as leader of our 'Young kids KNOW shit' party.

one of my mates came in with us a while back!!!and he wore a slipknot t-shirt,which is fine, but wait and bleed and some other popular one came on and he didnt even know what it was!!!havent asked him to come with us again!!!fucking trying too hard idiot!!!

hey I wore a slipknot t-shirt a few times in there....though most of the time I get slagged for being an overweight 14 year old boy from america that likes wrestling!!! But I do know the few slipknot songs that get played there!!!!

Last night Helmut was in fine form dealing with the idiotic teeny-boppers. Little bunch of annoying eejits. When Mr.Helmut was asked to play some Punk, he questioned the youth about his choice. The young 'un replied with NOFX and Helmut retorted by staring him in the face and informing the lil shit, 'Their shite!'.
Had me grinning all night. Kepp it up bro, we'll educate the newbies!!!

That's pretty harsh right there. We both like NoFX. Maybe I'm missing the point, but I thought that the point of this thread was they only know 4 songs. NoFX would make 5.

I got confused cos he asked for Punk and then he ruined it by asking for NOFX & Pennywise and some other godforsaked putred childrens lip-ring classics.
He and his "PUNK" entourage failed to attend the dancefloor gathering during Black Flag, The Bronx or Dead Kennedys.
I had the same problem when I worked in DUNNES STORES all those years ago... If someone askes for potatoes... They shouldnt be suprised when I dont hand them a pack of Instant-Mash.
I guess im used to the Old School Records (Get it... RECORDS.. like the potat.. ah forget it....
I used to play Bottled To The Ground... possibly NOFX's only semi-decent song. Even at that theres an awfull bang of Jimmy Eat World - Bleed America off it.

But what about old NoFX? Soul Doubt, Linoleum, S&M Airlines, 180 Degrees, The Longest Line, Jeff Wears Birkenstocks (a personal fave), Love Story, Falling in Love.
They've got more than 12 full lengths and a bunch of EPs. Surely you don't think that only 1 song out of all that is only semi-decent.
The Decline (one of my favourite records ever) by NoFX is a one track 18 minute opus.
NoFX and Pennywise are still punk, even if they're a different style to Black Flag, Poison Idea, Dead Kennedys et al.
Or so I believe.

well I did only buy one of pennywises newer albums and that just put me off them....because I bought the album for one song...which wasn't even on it and then I found it by mistake on someones computer!!! Woop for free stuff!!
