Well, considering Fibbers is so well known as a metal bar, I've been toying with the idea of having the friday night gigs as a metal night every week. We tried it out tonight with Revile & Slave Zero and it seemed to go down reasonably well.
So, what think ye?
Any suggestions?

you mean like have the gigs upstairs and then play only metal downstairs or that only metal bands can play on fridays?
i reckon it would suck to have just random death metal songs on all night, but then i know people who would love it

but you wouldn't have to do anything if you were doing DJ crap....just get you 2second loop of double bass and thrashing guitar and then put a little bit growling in every now and then and the metal people would love it.......
...but they wouldn't say they'd love it cos they don't love anything....they don't even use the love word ever!!!

Ugh... The thought of pure metal on the dancefloor is sick. Closest was the "Dimebag Anniversary"...

AHHHH the funniest I seen was last thursday when raining blood came on well into the night when most people are insanely drunk....and all the hair bastards that don't really move around all night run up to the dance floor to try and headbanging to the beat of the doublebass bits and then just throw their head around for the rest and sing but just growlling alot.......you DJs prob get to see that everything time you play metal but this was my first time up close and I ALMOST pissed myself laughing....(Note: that wasn't piss on my pants)
