In fairness opium was a very common thing in hollywood at that time. Think everyone was on it. As well as the other stuff
ALot of the time the studio gave it to them to keep them up to work longer hours/go to events and be photographed
They also supplied abortions/ Plastic surgeons and rent boys just so the papers wouldnt find out
noticed you never see a picture from that era of an actor looking tired?
Hense alot of them got addicted
Funny, they still looked classy.
But how class has changed....

It could do. All I know is that was the most common drug. Maybe because of all the things they took to keep them awake.

Had a 20-inch waist (34A-20-34) and at 5'7" never weighed more than 110 lbs (50 kg).
So anyone want to tell me how she couldn't be a smack head. and no she wasn't anorexic, and did not have any eating disorders.
