So yeah I won some free tickets to go see Staind tonight. Now I will admit I can tolerate Staind. I can listen to some of their tracks and kick back and enjoy a free gig. So along I popped with a friend and we decided to not fucking bother going in for support, just go in for main band, and then go home. Im off the grog for the majority of the week and so it wouldnt be the pub after, it would be home for coffee.
But I digress, so we went in and got there at 8.30. The whole Ambassador was locked up. There were a few kids hanging around, but there were NO signs saying Cancelled gig, or people milling around saying that the gig was cancelled. So we milled about for a few mins and then went home.
Logged onto the MCD website, they had known since Sept 6 and posted the new date on Sept 15. Now they never put up one bunch of signs or ads saying that the gig was cancelled. I mean what a miserable bunch of cunts. I mean Im not going now, Im gonna sell my tickets for face value and make myself over 50 euros. Fuck MCD, time for me to get some cash for free.

So you missed Staind cos of an MCD fuck up.
I hear the C.O Darragh Purcell is partial to Quality Street and/or Cadburys Roses.. If ya wanna say thanks. Fair play to him. I heard the Suicide Hotline hired 50 more staff in preperation for the gig and The Samaritans were on Code Red..which is usually only for Damien Rice or Brendan Grace shows...or The Eastenders Omnibus
Wast of time alright...but at least tragedy was avoided.

Not really avoided. Phil still felt the need to post and tell us all about it.
