Well all--Nothings changed.Went in there last night and these 2 kids--and I mean kids) decided to tell me not to try it on with anyone of the fairer sex(not that I even wanted to since Ive no interest and am getting married soon and I was only walking to the toilets at the time minding my own business) because it was their pub and they had first "dibs" on the ladies.
What a load of crap.
When the ladies in question realised they were arseholes and turned them down the 2 kids in question decided to keep slamming into them on the dance floor rightly pissing other punters off.
When Dave was told by another regular his response was that these lads were regulars and he couldnt "turn away business"
Well Dave let me tell you something--When I drink in there Ive no problem putting away 100-150 euros worth of drink in a night(these kids probably drink coke for the night or a bottle of something before they even land there) and next weekend is myself and a friends birthdays and what a piss up that was going to be--Between 8 of us who are still toying with the idea of whether to get pissed in Fibbers or go somewhere else I reckon we`d probably spend 500-600+ euros in there next Saturday.
And if thats not business from regulars then I dont know what is.
I see you still havent responded to this thread--Are you afraid you`ll get a hammering from other punters who were regulars but have decided its not worth it drinking in there if management dont take complaints seriously.
To be totally honest I did what people said on this thread and complained to the management but if the response is to ignore the problem then I can only say that things are going to go downhill even more before you realise that the problems have to be tackled.

Yeah i was in last nite and i had the two fucking kids tell me it was their pub and they were gna leave wth the young ones as it was their pub and their show. when they could nt score they started slamming and mini moshing on the floor and acting like idiots.......
When i told em i was drinking there 11 years and 2 just relax and enjoy themselves they said it was their pub and oldies like me and niggers should nt be drinking there.
being fair its not all the young crowds fault its just a few wana be hardmen who go out for 2 thing , to get pissed and get a shag and when they cannot score its rambo time . i tell ya just watch them at 2 am and ya see they realise they not gna score and go phil and grant on the floor.
I dnt bother telling dave bought any shit in there now cause nothing happens .
At the end of the day all we all want is to go out and have a few beers meet friends and listen to music .

Dave doesnt come onto this site to the best of my knowledge so if you are waiting for him to come and assuage your anguish, it could be some time.
As for the two dickheads, I wasnt in on Thursday night so I have no idea who you are talking about, if you give me some descriptions then we can work out who it was and organise something from there.
Once again I understand that you are annoyed with what happened, but these things do happen. If you feel you dont want to attend Fibbers anymore, well thats your choice and so be it, but at the same time, these things can happen anywhere. True Dave should have done something about it, but since I have no idea of who you are talking about I cannot tell you whether they are regulars or not. More so if they are regulars, it still does not excuse their idiotic behaviour, but that will have to be addressed elsewhere.

Thursday night? Dave wasn't in Thursday, or Friday for that matter. If he was, i think he would have at least have words with them. Even the most distinguished of regulars ie. Eddie Brady has got a couple of ear bashings from Dave over his behavior. I'd like to meet these two guys who claim to "Own" Fibbers, because i hate those wankers in Fibbers who think they own the place

It was Friday night not Thursday that this happened.And thanks for the reply.I do want to attend Fibbers(its like a home from home for me at this stage 13 years on) but I dont want to be harassed by arseholes who thing that theyre something special. What really annoyed me on Friday was Daves attitude and considering I carried out the advice given here I think was the wrong way to approach it. If it happens on Saturday Ill be letting him know again.Ive decided to give it one more go and see what happens. Cheers. |

Yeah im gna head in to fibs on sat and see how it gos and if the 2 kids who "own " fibs is in il tell dave and it be interesting to see if anything happens. But at the end of the day all the regs look after each other and just keep a eye on the young ones cause there seems to be a few sleezey fellas in there now... Sure my other half wnt go 2 fibs anymore cause last time she was in some kids kept touching her and fricken her out , so if any of them idiots start sat i wnt care if im barred . Rather get given out 2 by Dave then her nagging  |

I knw its best to ignore them but if they keep causing hassel or annoying the younger crowd or your girl friend or mates it puts a downer on the whole nite .
Sure ive been drinking in there 11 years now , know most of ya and ya all like family . its only natural to want to look after ya family and friends.
