I see that the anniversary of Kurt Cobain's death has passed without too much mention.Maybe people are starting to realise that he was no hero and that all this talk about him being a "spokesman for a generation" was a pyramid of piffle.

Hey he wasnt trying to kill himself, he was just clearing his mind. I dont think hes worthy of all the hero-worship that people labish on him, but meh, they gotta love someone. I do agree with your sentiment though.

But to some people he was, emma.
He wasnt the first or in my opinion the best at the music he played he was the most popular. He made it mainstream and that was his downfall.
Sad as he had a child that he appeared to love alot and did have talent.
But, as with all thoese that died before their time. We cant say what their music would have turned out like. What they would have become.
By dying young and at the height of their fame they remain gods to some.
to some I said before people start giving out to me.

The only thing Kurt Kobain brought the world was the discovery of the musical genious that is Dave Grohl

Kurt Cobain was no talented musician, not a good songwriter, and not deserving of any accolade other than ridding the world of himself. A good deed. If only a few others would do the same i.e the foo fighters, the darkness, the remaining beatles etc.

Is it just me, or is music no longer a personal thing?
Im getting tired of people slagging off other peoples taste. I find most people like alot of different music but generally more of one kind. But when someone else posts a different opinion they are instantly thrown in the firing line.
Whats the big fucking deal?
And something else that has SERIOUSLY been bugging me lately is this whole thing of this is what I like, so this is what I dress/act like.
Just cause you wear a tartan skirt, it doesnt make you punk, Just cause you like goth music dont mean you need to dress like a fucking tool. I wear tartan skirts..I dont call myself punk.
Its driving me round the bend.
People,STOP TRYING TO BE DIFFERENT BY DRESSING LIKE EVERYONE ELSE!
